| Trinidad Reyes | | I always get these little guys in the small box of 12. i just like the size. I think the taste is sort of peppery, and well , just enjoyable.
i really dont get all these "detailed" honey, flowery, bla bla... am i mission something? |
| Trinidad Funadores | | I had a box of 5 of these babies and i loved each and every one! Im in Canada so these smokes are REALLY REALLY expensive. hence the box of 5
Now i want to have a lanceros to compare |

| Cohiba Siglo VI | | Given the heated discussions and arguments about this cigar on the web, before writing here a review I have smoked 10 of them in the last year from a box marked EUP SEP07. The experience has always been very consistent: A masterpiece! Beautiful light brown, silky and
oily wrapper totally veineless and with a perfect three
seams cap. It feels great to the touch and pinch. Cutting
and lighting is easy, great draw of abundant silky smoke.
The grey ash is tight, the burn is razor-sharp. The body is
substantial but the cigar is very smooth. After lighting, you
are hit with tons of cedarwood and honey. Afterwards, it
mellows down a bit to assume honey, spice and creamy
flavors which become bold in the last third with the addition
of coffee. Awesome!
It is difficult for me to say whether this cigar is worth its price. It is a very personal judgement. I think that if a cigar is so special it should cost more

| Jose L Piedra Conservas | | I just got a box of 25 of these from my smoke shop by pure luck they had ran out of cazadores and offered me these instead! This is a nice everyday Cuban cigar. If you get these cigars wrapped in plastic and they are dry change cigar shops! Mine came in a box holding 5 boxes of 5 cigars all in excellent shape! Jose's are a smoke I often go too! For the money you spend you can't find better. These and the cazadores are the best of the line! If you get a plugged one once in a while who cares they are dirt cheap! |
| Vegas Robaina Famosos | | This cigar totally shocked me! A very strong tasting cigar! Right from the start it had me on my heels! A totally different Cuban than I'm use to! have you ever had the feeling that you are so relaxed that you don't want To get up? This cigar did it for me plus it's a little cheaper than most robustos! Try this cigar guys you won't regret it! |
| Partagas Churchills Deluxe | | Wonderfull cigar, spicy, smooth, strong. I honestly didnt know tobacco could taste this way and words wont do it justice. A rating of 6 out of 5 possible !!! |
| Jose L Piedra Nacionales | | I love the larger Cazadores but my shop was out of them so I tried these Nacionales. They were very good cigars but a bit stronger than the Cazadores I like. If you want a little stronger Cuban at a spectacular price dis be da one. |
| Jose L Piedra Cazadores | | Overall I dont think the Cazadore can be beat. I really enjoy the smooth creamy spicy taste and the price is spectacular. I`ve only had one disappointing cigar out of the seventy five I`ve smoked. |
| Bolivar Petit Coronas | | Where do I start! This is the first time I have smoked this cigar! Yes I'm smoking and giving this review! I haven't had any type of bolivar that has dissapointed me and this petit corona has kept the tradition alive! Perfect burn perfect draw construction amazing and a powerhouse of a cigar! The spice is everywhere the smoke has filled my garage and I'm in heaven. For less than half the price of a siglo 2 here in Canada this cigar is so worth it! |
| Romeo y Julieta Exibicion No.4 | | A client of mine gave me 10 of these great cigars as a gift out of a 2005 box. To tell everyone the truth I am not a big Romeo fan. The cigars are a little to light for my liking but these smokes are great! I draw the spice the burn all perfect. An amazing medium strength cigar! You won't regret the 40 minutes it takes to smoke this great romeo and this coming from a d4 and bolivar royal corona smoker! |
| Jose L Piedra Cazadores | | This is an amazing cigar for the price you are paying. A perfect smoke for every day. The draw is great the burn always great and the taste is ok. As all Cuban cigars you will come across a plugged cigar but witb this price tag who cares. I have smoked a box of these and a box oc the petit version and will smoke more without hesitation! |
| Partagas Serie D No.4 | | This has to be my favourite robusto by far. The flavour is full and strong, and gets noticeably better as you smoke. I am half way through my 3rd box of 25, and this is the only cigar I smoke down past the ring untill I’m burning my fingers. I prefer these to any Cohiba robusto, and at half the price it’s a win-win! |
| Montecristo Montecristo No.3 | | another great cigar - seems to suffer less quality problems than its little brother. |
| Montecristo Montecristo No.4 | | great cigar but theres so many made that quality can be a problem. |
| Bolivar Coronas Extra | | they call it a royal corona but its actually a robusto. if you're into bolivar you wont be disapointed |
| Romeo y Julieta Romeo Tubed No.2 | | this is a really good cigar for the price.
machine made.has a nice draw and very smooth taste. |
| H. Upmann Coronas Major | | this is actually a machine made cigar.
nice taste.
draws quite hard on the box i purchased.
not the best quality for the price. |
| Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.2 | | Delicious cigar...Starts with coffee notes and changes to chocolate and almonds with a great sweet finale, almost tempting to eat it at the end, great after taste. Gave it an excellent mark because of the consistency on the burn and the flavours on all of the cigars in this JUL05 box that I bought in Grand Cayman. |
| San Cristobal La Punta | | When I got a JUL 01 box of these cigars 3 years ago, I thought they had been rolled too tight, they look nice but they were rock solid to the touch. After letting them rest for a while I have been tasting them in the last 6 months and I have to report that they are coming along really nice, not complex with loads of flavours but some nutty and chocolate notes can be found. Perfect construction and they handle nice. Good evening cigar. |
| Partagas Serie D No.4 | | Bought one of these from a cigar factory in Havana to try. It was superb in every way - taste, aroma, burn, draw. Goes well with the seven year old Havana Club rum. I made sure I bought a box of 25 before leaving Cuba. |
| Trinidad Robusto Extra | | I bought one of these from a cigar factory near Pinar Del Rio, Cuba to try. It was fresh from a box of 25. I smoked it a few days later whist still in Cuba, but was disappointed. The taste and aroma were fine but it burnt unevenly. I tried re-lighting it but to no avail. The cigar filler had obviously been rolled badly giving a lopsided burn. I doubt if I'll bother again. |
| H. Upmann Connossieur No.1 | | A well constructed cigar with that definite Cuban taste and aroma -- you know it if you've been at this for a time. I got this in a sampler of ten (10) robustos as a gift (yes, I have good friends!)...
The Upmann is a bit tame for my tastes, but, having said that, it's not a disappointing smoke either. It's very hard in my book to rate the better name Cubans anywhere below an 8 (a 4 on this website); therefore, I give this robusto just that. For a new-to-Cuban-smoker, the H. Upmann might be a good start. Well constructed, draws well, has enough smoke, and can be smoked to the 'nub' without any bitter taste...
I certainly wouldn't turn one down, but if I was buying, my choice would be a Bolivar or a Partagus at this size... |

| Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.2 | | A classic cigar. As with all Havana cigars, the best taste is encountered between 15% to 50% of the smoke. Difficult to describe the flavours as they are unique to Havana cigars - spice, vanilla, maybe dark chocolate - this is amongst the best. Good easy draw. The band is positioned about 2" which allows smoking to down to last 40%. If you are tempted to go beyond stop at 30%. It gives a good hour of enjoyment particularly with a glass of good red wine |
| Partagas Churchills Deluxe | | This is a great cigar...and one of my favourite brands. Believe it or not, words fail me with this particular cigar. I'm too busy enjoying one, right now! |
| Romeo y Julieta Churchills | | when I said I keep soming these cigars I wasn't being derogatory...must have got smoked out! What I meant was I keep smoking them AND running out! Where the's the best place to regular supply? I'm down to two and starting to get desperate. |
| Juan Lopez Coronas | | Medium bodied Havana with pleasant after-taste. Worth seeking out. |
| Saint Luis Rey Coronas | | I've long been impressed with this brand, particuarly the coronas. While I wouldn't say it is a classic Havana, it is pretty damned good, and usually very good value. |
| Partagas 8-9-8 | | I'm a big fan of Partagas and this particular cigar, which is a beautifully constructed, distinguished Havana. Words may fail me in describing its excellent qualities, but the cigar itself has never failed to impress. |
