Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure No.2 review:
It lacks the strength of the Cohibas, but it is superior to the Upmanns.Mild flavours at first blended nicely into a complex finish.Excellent smoke!

Delicious cigar...Starts with coffee notes and changes to chocolate and almonds with a great sweet finale, almost tempting to eat it at the end, great after taste. Gave it an excellent mark because of the consistency on the burn and the flavours on all of the cigars in this JUL05 box that I bought in Grand Cayman. - Submitted by dexpat on 4 Sep 2008
A classic cigar. As with all Havana cigars, the best taste is encountered between 15% to 50% of the smoke. Difficult to describe the flavours as they are unique to Havana cigars - spice, vanilla, maybe dark chocolate - this is amongst the best. Good easy draw. The band is positioned about 2" which allows smoking to down to last 40%. If you are tempted to go beyond stop at 30%. It gives a good hour of enjoyment particularly with a glass of good red wine - Submitted by nigel on 10 Feb 2008
Spicy, sweet, slightly bitter Havana with pleasant aroma. Initial sourish taste smooths out the longer you smoke it. Not a classic Havana but one worth coming back to. - Submitted by seamus on 4 Mar 2007
